As I’m talking to supporters like you, I hear it all the time: “Why have you started fundraising so early for the 2024 election?”
Well here’s what I’ll tell you about this race:
- Kevin McCarthy and his allies are ALREADY targeting this district because they know it’s considered a “toss-up” race. They’re going to throw everything they have at us – including a portion of their $2 million ad buy that is already on the airwaves.
- Winning in races like OH-09 requires significant resources and investments. We can’t fall short on any of our goals – even the ones this early – because we can’t afford to be set back at any point of this must-win campaign.
We were able to outperform all expectations in 2022 because of early support from people like you. We were able to be prepared for any attack that came our way and run a strong campaign from day one.
So, I’m asking before my FEC end-of-quarter deadline next week, can I count on you to pitch in whatever you can to help us build a competitive campaign in 2024? Your early support will ensure we have what it takes to win.
