Team: Republican AGs have defended Trump's dangerous agenda and abuses of power, and now they're effectively joining his impeachment defense team.

In an unprecedented move, 21 Republican AGs have come together to urge the Senate reject the articles of impeachment against Trump, calling them politically motivated.

That's ridiculous. Mitch McConnell and the GOP are rejecting both new evidence and witness testimony. And now Republican AGs from across the country are backing them up to protect Donald Trump. AGs who should be protecting the rule of law and following it.

These are the same Republican AGs who spent BIG at Mar-a-lago and Trump's Hotel. The same Republican AGs who have raised millions from the NRA, Judicial Crisis Network, and Koch Industries. The same Republican AGs who are suing to destroy the Affordable Care Act and dismantle Obama's climate legacy.

In November, many of these same Republican AGs will be on the ballot. We are laser focused on replacing them with Democratic AGs who will defend the rule of law. But right now, with donors so focused on the Presidential race, we are falling short of our January goal.
