Nothing To Bragg About

For the second day in a row, the Manhattan grand jury hearing the case against Donald Trump will not take any action on it. Yesterday’s meeting was abruptly canceled, and today the jurors reportedly discussed other cases, but not the Trump case. The grand jury will not meet tomorrow either.

Media reports indicate there is “major dissension ([link removed]) ” within District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office, partly because he’s “having trouble convincing the grand jury on potential charges due to the ‘weakness’ of the case.”

House Republicans are demanding that Bragg appear before the Judiciary Committee to explain his gross abuse of power and blatant political prosecution of the former president and leading 2024 GOP contender based on half-baked legal theories in a case that federal prosecutors and Bragg himself ([link removed]) had previously refused to prosecute.

Biden’s Lies

Joe Biden has told a lot of whoppers over the years. But one that may come back to haunt him is the oft-stated claim that he never discussed Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings with him.

We know that’s a lie because Hunter introduced several ([link removed]) of his foreign business contacts to his father. And now, thanks to ongoing lawsuits by Stephen Miller and America First Legal, we’re learning more about Hunter Biden’s influence in the Obama White House.

The National Archives was recently forced to release emails ([link removed]) from then-Vice President Joe Biden’s office showing that Eric Schwerin, president of Hunter’s former investment firm, was working closely with Kate Bedingfield, Biden’s communications director, to shut down news stories about Hunter’s foreign business ventures.

In response to pressure from Bedingfield, a Bloomberg reporter assured her that she was “doing everything she can to not use” the information about Hunter working with Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

Another email also indicates that Vice President Biden personally approved ([link removed]) a statement about his son’s involvement with Burisma.

But wait. . . There’s more!

The New York Post ([link removed]) reports that Hunter Biden had a mole inside the FBI named “One-eye” feeding him information about the Bureau’s investigations of Hunter’s Chinese business partners.

One of those partners, Patrick Ho ([link removed]) , was in fact arrested by the FBI, sentenced to three years in prison and eventually deported for his role in a foreign bribery scheme.

This is just further evidence of the special treatment the Biden crime family has received over the years. You may recall that the Secret Service ([link removed]) attempted to cover for Hunter when he lost a gun kept in his truck.

The Deep State wasn’t just weaponized against Trump, it was working hand-in-hand with the Bidens.



Bishops Stand Firm

As the left goes all in on transgender insanity, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops issued a strong statement this week standing firmly on the side of biology and Christian teaching. In their statement, the bishops declared ([link removed]) :

“A fundamental tenet of the Christian faith is that there is an order in the natural world that was designed by its Creator and that this created order is good. . . What is true of creation as a whole is true of human nature in particular: there is an order in human nature that we are called to respect.

“In fact, human nature deserves utmost respect since humanity occupies a singular place in the created order, being created in the image of God (Gen. 1:27). To find fulfillment as human persons, to find true happiness, we must respect that order.”

After reaffirming church teaching that we are created male and female in the image of God, the bishops further declared:

“Catholic health care services must not perform interventions, whether surgical or chemical, that aim to transform the sexual characteristics of a human body into those of the opposite sex or take part in the development of such procedures.”

Good for them! I’m glad the bishops spoke up now, and I hope they will speak up more often in the future.

In a confrontation between Caesar and God, they are standing firmly with God and biology. (This may be the only thing that the Catholic Church and atheist biologist Richard Dawkins ([link removed]) agree on!)

But I guarantee you that the Biden Administration and the secular left Democrat Party, which is increasingly anti-Christian, saw this story and said, “Bring it on!”

Biden has been pushing hard to force Christian doctors and hospitals to perform transgender surgeries. (Here ([link removed]) and here ([link removed]) .) He has even threatened to withhold food from poor kids ([link removed]) if schools resist the radical transgender agenda.

As we have repeatedly pointed out, the left is willing to crush and jail anyone from pro-life activists ([link removed]) to moms at school board meetings ([link removed]) to the former president of the United States. They are out to crush us all.

Democrat senators have repeatedly launched bigoted attacks ([link removed]) against Christian nominees. The FBI concocted a scheme to spy on Catholic churches ([link removed]) , and the left is obsessed with “Christian nationalism.”

Remember how the left went after Amy Coney Barrett ([link removed]) because she took her Catholic faith seriously? They tried to turn her into a nut.

Of course, another female justice stunned senators when she said she could not define what a woman is ([link removed]) , but the left was totally fine with that.



The Left’s War On Normalcy

A Fox News analyst noted last night that several current and potential candidates for the 2024 GOP nomination are running on the idea that they will “restore normalcy to our public discourse,” something many Americans desperately want.

I want that, too. But I know that there will be no normalcy unless we surrender. That’s when the yelling will stop – when we stop resisting the left’s insanity.

The left is not going to abandon its demands that we subsidize abortion up to the moment of birth. And I’m not going to give in to that.

The left is not going to abandon its demands that radical Marxists indoctrinate our children with our tax dollars in our public schools. And I’m not going to give in to that.

The left is not going to abandon its demands that it gets to control what we can say and think. And I’m not going to give in to that!

Are you?

But until you kneel, normalcy will not happen.

Normalcy returned to war-torn Europe only after the Nazis were defeated. Normalcy will only return to America when the anti-life, anti-family, anti-religious liberty, anti-freedom of speech neo-Marxists are defeated.

Anyone who wants to get back to normal must be willing to fight for it. If they’re not up to the fight, then they’re halfway to surrendering, whether they realize it or not.
