Elections have consequences - here’s what the future of healthcare could look like for New Mexicans if the GOP is in charge: -
300,000 New Mexicans covered through the ACA will see premiums go up by an average of $6,400.
- At least 337,000 people in New Mexico with pre-existing health conditions could lose critical protections.
- 669,000 New Mexico residents with Medicaid, including children, could lose critical services, or could even lose coverage altogether.

New Mexicans could lose access to substance use treatment or mental health care.
- Families across New Mexico could lose free preventive care.
- Costs for home and nursing home care would skyrocket for New Mexican seniors.
