Dear Friends,

This Sunday's Jazz@Goethe concert features bassist, vocalist, and composer Zoë Jorgenson. Co-presented by the Goethe-Institut Washington and the Washington Women in Jazz Festival, Jorgenson's performance will feature a mixture of jazz standards and original compositions based on improvised music. Joining Jorgenson will be Nataly Merezhuk on violin and Simone Baron on accordion and piano. Tickets are $15 via Eventbrite (not including fees). Each ticket also includes one drink voucher.

If you are searching for a few new reads to take you into the spring and summer, look no further than the upcoming Goethe Book Club selections! Next month, the Book Club resumes with a poetry collection from Ulrike Almut Sandig, and continues throughout May, June, and July, with selections from contemporary and classic literature alike.
