How your gift reshapes a forest

----------

Jack, as the impacts of climate change intensify, the giant sequoia will face more danger every wildfire season — unless we can intervene.

We alone cannot stop climate change, so the big word right now is resilience.

This spring, Save the Redwoods League is working to ramp up our restoration work, building resilience throughout the giant sequoia range.

How your donation helps us create more resilient giant sequoia groves:

Wildfires are frightening, but the giant sequoias have evolved and thrived with wildfires for millions of years. The restoration work we do now can restore a healthy relationship between fire and sequoias that will allow these ancient trees to survive for centuries to come.

The longevity of forestry is what makes it so compelling to me. The idea that these forests will outlive us, given the right conditions, is very exciting – and we can work together now to set them up for success. Let’s protect these places, restore them, and allow future generations to experience them, too. [[link removed]]

Thanks for your help!
