I just finished testifying in front of the House Judiciary Committee (watch: [link removed]), but what has me buzzing is the students, the teachers, the doctors, the Pennsylvanians who traveled miles. Who will not wait for change – they demand it.

Now, that same energy, that same fight for a life free from gun violence – it must be taken back to each community. This is our best chance in years to win with Speaker McClinton in charge – but it's not going to be easy.

This will not be easy. Already, we’ve seen Gun Owners of America and the NRA tell Republicans that any action is surrender. They don’t have solutions, they just want people to keep dying at catastrophic rates. It’s why the team has been working to launch our biggest field campaign in years.

We know some legislators want to do the right thing and others can be pushed to do it. We’re focused on just 15 legislators who could give us the bipartisan vote we need to move a bill through the Senate.

You can power that movement to get hundreds of calls into each of their offices. You can power that movement to put doctors, survivors and police officers in their district offices walking through how safe storage and reporting stolen firearms saves lives.
