Team,

I am excited to share that my re-election campaign has been endorsed by EMILY’s List, the nation’s oldest organization dedicated to electing pro-choice women up and down the ballot.

I am thrilled by this recognition of my work as a pro-choice advocate in Congress. But more than that, this early endorsement is further confirmation that this district will be in the national spotlight. National organizations are getting involved in this race in the off-year because they know it’s a swing seat that could determine control of the House of Representatives.

A fun fact many folks don’t know is that EMILY’s List isn’t named after a person, but is actually an acronym: it stands for Early Money Is Like Yeast – because it raises the dough! The name is a reference to the incredible impact that early fundraising has on a political campaign.

After defending my seat in some of the closest races in the country in 2020 and 2022, I can confirm that early investments determine what happens on Election Day. That’s why I’m asking you to contribute $10 or whatever you can spare to support my re-election campaign right away.
