Take Down Tobacco
John,
Meet Aisha Ibrahim! [[link removed]]
Aisha is a high school junior from Minnesota who’s passionate about leaving a positive impact on her community. She got involved in tobacco prevention work over two years ago when she saw skyrocketing e-cigarette use take a toll on her classmates. She joined the Tobacco-Free Society at her high school, where she’s able to educate her peers about the impact of tobacco use and advocate for strong tobacco prevention policies.
Aisha is a champion for her peers and her community – and she’s a phenomenal advocate as a Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids National Youth Ambassador. Outside of her advocacy work, Aisha loves to travel, and she has dreams of one day traveling to Turkey.

"I just want to work to help people understand the impacts of tobacco!" –Aisha Ibrahim
Our National Youth Ambassadors are high school students who have demonstrated leadership in fighting tobacco in their communities. These advocates are chosen annually as representatives of their state through a competitive application process. They receive training and participate in activities throughout the year. This profile series showcases their incredible work!
