13.6 million Americans signed up for an ACA health plan for 2023

Lauren Underwood For Congress

John —

On the 13th anniversary of the landmark Affordable Care Act (ACA), we are excited to share that a record-breaking 16.3 million Americans signed up for an ACA Marketplace health plan for 2023.

Lauren’s Health Care Affordability Act has lowered annual premium costs by an average of $2,400 per family for ACA plans. This game-changing legislation lowers costs of coverage and brings quality, affordable health care to all Americans.

This legislation, which was included in the American Rescue Plan, is one of Democrats’ major achievements toward our goal to ensure every working family has access to the care they need.

We’ve made expanding access to affordable and accessible health care a top priority — and it shows in the unprecedented number of people nationwide who have signed up.

On the other hand, out-of-touch Congressional Republicans are fervently working against the best interests of the American people. Case in point: The GOP agenda puts health care on the chopping block, including plans to repeal the Affordable Care Act and slash Medicaid.

Without a doubt, Lauren will continue working to strengthen and increase access to quality, affordable health care — and your support for our campaign helps her develop plans and solutions to do just that. John, will you join other health care supporters on our team with a contribution ahead of our first major end-of-quarter FEC deadline on March 31?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

There has been a 50 percent increase in ACA signups for high-quality, affordable health insurance since President Biden took office — and 3.6 million first-time signups. Let’s use this momentum to help continue making good on our promise to help insure all Americans.

Thanks for everything you do to keep our work moving forward,

— Team Underwood
