Jack, as grand juries in New York and Georgia, and federal investigations increasingly bear down on Trump for a litany of crimes, he has returned to the same rhetoric that he and other MAGA Republicans used in advance of the deadly January 6 attack on our democracy, calling for his supporters to "PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!”.

Whether or not the rule of law finally catches up to him or not, he is unfit for public office.

A recent Reuters/Ipsos survey shows that this country demands leaders who follow the law, act honorably in our interests and govern in our name. "Americans also do not support violent acts as a way to achieve a political goal, and do not believe violent acts are acceptable to achieve their idea of a better society."

Trump and MAGA Republicans planned, promoted, and paid for a criminal conspiracy to overturn the 2020 election so they could take away everything from Social Security to our freedom to decide what happens to our own bodies. They continue to threaten our democracy and freedoms in order to rule for the wealthiest few.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution states that no person may serve if they "engaged in insurrection or rebellion" against the U.S. government. Trump's recent sentiments reinforces the need to block him from ever holding office again.
