Bernie won last night’s debate — but he’s not alone in that victory. Nearly every question that the moderators asked referenced a progressive bill or priority that we, as a movement, have brought to the national stage.

Our ideals are captivating the imaginations of the American people. From West Virginia to California, working-class folks are looking for a leader who will fight for them — not big Pharma, not the big corporations, and not the lobbyists.

Bernie is that leader. Every time one of the more moderate candidates tried to attack Medicare for All, he showed them why it needs to be a critical priority for our nation. As we speak, there are millions of people who are insured but still go bankrupt when they leave the hospital.

I’m proud to stand by Bernie and his incredible progressive platform as his national co-chair. Will you help bolster his post-debate momentum by splitting a $3 contribution between us right now?

The problem is not our people. The problem is the insurance companies and very model of profit-driven health care. That profit comes from denying people the care that their doctors and nurses say they need — and it’s time to end it.

Now, that challenge may seem daunting. But Bernie’s never backed down from something just because it was hard. He supported my War Powers resolution to end the war in Yemen even when it was unpopular.

And now? That very same resolution has passed both houses of Congress in a bipartisan vote. That is the power of fighting for your convictions — that’s the power of the grassroots progressive movement that we’re building.

Will you bolster the grassroots movement that worked to get our ideals to center stage in the debate by splitting a $3 contribution between Bernie’s campaign and my reelection effort right now?
