Hi there, it’s Jane Fonda. I wanted to tell you a little bit about the Jane Fonda Climate PAC and why I’m supporting Helen Gym for Philadelphia Mayor. But first, will you make a split contribution between the Jane Fonda Climate PAC and Helen’s campaign?

The Jane Fonda Climate PAC is committed to supporting candidates who are dedicated to fighting climate change by acting on the science and hastening the end of the fossil fuel era before it's too late.

Big Oil continues to make billions in profits while polluting our atmosphere and poisoning our communities. Unfortunately, many elected leaders fail to take action due to the overwhelming influence fossil fuel money has on our political system.

This is why I established the Jane Fonda Climate PAC to help elect candidates like Helen. 

Helen has consistently been a strong advocate for significant climate action and a municipal Green New Deal that transitions Philadelphia off fossil fuels. During her time on City Council, Helen always had an open-door policy with Philadelphia’s environmental justice advocacy community. She has a record of challenging Philadelphia Gas Works’ attempts to continue its reliance on fossil fuels and just last year, she went toe-to-toe with their CEO, challenging the utility’s support of a preemption effort that would limit the city’s ability to reach carbon neutrality by 2050. She also was the leading voice in City Council against the construction of a liquefied natural gas facility in Southwest Philadelphia.
