Today marks thirteen years since President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act (ACA) into law. This was a historic piece of legislation that gave millions of uninsured Americans access to quality, affordable health care.

The Affordable Care Act has been instrumental in helping millions of working families, seniors, and people with pre-existing conditions receive health care coverage. It's also provided greater financial stability to rural hospitals, including those right here in Pennsylvania's 8th District.

Today, more than 35 million people receive health care coverage through the Affordable Care Act. The ACA has helped our country make great progress over the last 13 years, but we still have a long way to go.

That's why Matt is fighting in Congress to lower prescription drug costs, protect people with pre-existing conditions, and cap out-of-pocket medical expenses so that more people in PA-08 – and across the country – can access affordable, quality medical care.

But repealing the Affordable Care Act remains at the top of the GOP's agenda. Matt will always fight back against any attempt to slash health care, but he needs your help.
