John,
On Wednesday, I will deliver my second annual State of the State -- and I plan on laying out the much-needed proposals to get Michigan back on track in 2020.
When I was a 29-year-old first-term lawmaker, I never really imagined I would be in the position to deliver this speech before the people of Michigan.
But Michiganders put their faith in our administration, and we owe it to them to lead with big, bold ideas that will take our state forward.
That’s why my team has set out to bring in 250 individual donations before the end of the month: so we can take on the tough challenges ahead with the strongest grassroots force in Michigan.
I’m hoping one of those donations can come from you, John, so we can continue to advance the proposals and plans that will move our state forward.
There are many reasons why I need your support in the fights ahead. Our roads have crumbled, health care costs are still too much for many, and we need to improve our education system and skills programs.
Michigan families need action -- and they need it quickly. The proposals and policies I’ll be pushing forward during Wednesday’s State of the State are aggressive and bold, but if you’re with me, I know we can make them a reality.
Stand with me today by helping my team get 250 new donations toward our end-of-month fundraising goal by contributing here.
Let’s get it done,
Gretchen
