A relative calm has returned to the Precious Life office after the amazing Rally for Life in Belfast. But we're busy now gearing up for our VOTE PRO-LIFE Campaign in the run-up to the forthcoming local council elections in May. And of course, our preparations have already started for the ALL-IRELAND RALLY FOR LIFE in Dublin on 1st July. Remember to SAVE THE DATE! We'll bring you more details of both in the coming weeks.

This Saturday (25th March) Precious Life will again expose the hypocrisy of the SDLP - who claim to be the party of "civil rights" yet deny the very right to life of babies in the womb. They also brazenly support the draconian "buffer zones" law that will criminalise anyone who exercises their human, civil and religious rights to pray outside abortion centres in Northern Ireland. We will hold a Protest at their Conference in Derry, beginning at 11.30am.

And of course, our Street Outreach in Belfast, and our Vigils outside the abortion centres also continue this coming week,

"When my 16-year-old daughter Jasmine came home and told me she was pregnant, I hoped she had got it wrong. I was in complete and utter shock, and went into 'panic mode'. I was so anxious because I didn’t know how my daughter could cope with becoming a mum at 16 years old.

While searching online, I came across the Stanton Healthcare website. I phoned their helpline and I explained the situation and my concerns about my daughter. They immediately calmed me down. Stanton assured me that we were not alone, and that help and support were available for as long as we needed it.

As soon as I was off the phone, I felt a peace come over me and I knew that everything was going to be ok. Stanton truly was a light in the darkness.

Because of the support and encouragement that we received, my daughter was able to continue with her education.

And only three weeks before her baby was born, Jasmine finished her last GCSE exam. I was so proud of her.

But my proudest moment was when Jasmine gave birth to little Poppy Grace.

And when my beautiful granddaughter Poppy Grace was just one month old, Jasmine received her exam results - she had passed them all with flying colours! Words cannot describe how proud I am of my daughter and all that she has achieved. I believe she will be a role model for other young teenagers who find themselves in a crisis pregnancy.

My message to other mothers who find themselves in similar situations is - don't panic, get in touch with Stanton Healthcare and hang in there - your life will change for the better.
