Before I came to Congress, I worked in business. I understand why it’s so important that we protect consumers from greed and why it’s vital we have a stable banking system that people trust.

So I know what I’m talking about when I say we need more regulation and scrutiny on the management of these banks to ensure they don’t keep making risky decisions and then running away with the profits when everything goes bad.
