John,

BREAKING: Current situation -- standing outside Starbucks headquarters in solidarity with other workers across the nation demanding our rights to a union be respected. [[link removed]]

Yes, that's right. Tons of us are in front of Starbucks headquarters right now while across the country, Starbucks workers are on strike. Can you help us spread the news by sharing this image on social media?

We've won union elections in nearly 300 stores across the country. But instead of agreeing to fair wages and treatment, the company is doing everything it can to silence us. And now, the National Labor Relations Board is prosecuting Starbucks for more than 1,300 alleged violations of workers' rights violations since we won our first union store a little over a year ago. We will not be silenced!

So while our company's leadership is mingling with other business leaders in the executive suite, we're outside demanding one simple thing: that Starbucks respect our decision to form a union.

I've worked at Starbucks for three years and have faced many of the same issues as my coworkers across the country: erratic scheduling, short staffing, low pay, and disrespect. Starbucks bullied me and my coworkers to try and squash our efforts to form a union. They illegally harassed, intimidated, and even fired workers as part of its growing campaign of anti-union bullying.

And when that didn't stop us from joining together, Starbucks closed our store in an effort to silence us. I've now been relocated to another Starbucks location which is farther from home and negatively impacts my housing and transportation.

That's not right.

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT: Help make sure Starbucks can hear us from the streets even up on the top floor by spreading the word on social media. [[link removed]]
