Adam recently stopped by MSNBC to discuss the latest revelations on Fox News and their decision to deliberately spread misinformation about the 2020 election to the American people.

Recent testimony shows that Fox News anchors and executives, including the very top executive Rupert Murdoch, understood they were lying to the American people and the destructive impact it was having on our elections.

They had multiple chances to stop it. Instead, Fox executives kept their hosts lying to the public because they were worried about losing ratings if they told the truth. They spread dangerous conspiracy theories that undermined our free and fair elections — with little regard for the consequences. All that mattered was the money.

Fast forward to today: Dominion Voting Systems is now suing Fox News for $1.6 billion in defamation and for recklessly disregarding the truth. And every day, more emails, texts, and testimony are being released that confirm Fox’s shameful decisions.

We know now that the only thing Fox News cares about is profit. And the only way this is going to change is if companies stop paying Fox to lie, by refusing to advertise on the network.

Those who patronize and subsidize Fox News are culpable for the lies they tell and for the damage they do to our democracy. If Fox is only about the money — and they are — the only way Fox changes is if the money dries up. Add your name if you believe companies should find some other place to advertise their products.
