Nine New Monthly Donors Needed

-------------------------

Giving Challenge Deadline: Midnight Tonight

Donate Now ([link removed])

As we mark World Water Day today, we’re taking this time to reflect on how critical water is for birds and people alike—and reaffirm our commitment to the vital work of protecting it year-round. The research is clear: To protect birds, we must protect water.

This situation is urgent, but birds like the Common Loon tell us it’s not too late to act. With more than a century of conservation expertise under our wing, we know what it takes to protect the water that birds need to survive. And with your support, we can. Start your monthly gift before midnight tonight while, thanks to a group of generous donors, it will help unlock an additional $10,000. We’re counting on nine more friends like you to act for the birds you love. Please don’t miss this important chance to amplify your impact for birds. ([link removed])

The climate crisis means less safe, clean water for birds

Human activities have deprived birds like the Common Loon of the clean water they depend on.

Maine and Minnesota could see loons vanish by the end of the century.

We’ve already lost 3 billion birds in the span of a human lifetime.

It’s true that the situation is serious, with climate change threatening two-thirds of North American bird species with extinction. But it’s also true that we’ve made incredible progress. Using our proven combination of committed advocacy, empowering education, and expert on-the-ground conservation, Audubon has achieved water protection wins for birds and their habitats, including passing legislation to increase funding for water projects that impact birds and communities. Together with caring bird lovers like you, we’re supporting sustainable resource management, preserving essential habitats, and advancing climate action.

And we can achieve even more if you’ll join us with your sustaining gift. We’re counting on nine more friends to join us with a monthly donation during our World Water Day challenge to help unlock $10,000 more for birds and their habitats. But hurry! This special offer expires at midnight tonight. ([link removed])
