The 2023 New Mexico Legislative Session came to a close last week, and we would like to extend a special thank you to our Democratic legislators for their hard work in office fighting for New Mexico families. This session is just the beginning. Show your support for our Democratic champions in office. From HB 4: The New Mexico Voting Rights Act , to HB 7: The Reproductive and Gender-affirming Health Care Bill , New Mexico Democrats in both chambers took massive strides to protect fundamental rights that serve New Mexico’s greatest interests. Making voting more accessible across NM and protecting abortion rights and gender-affirming healthcare is just the beginning of our long fight to make New Mexico a better state for us all.
Both the State House AND the State Senate will be on the ballot in the upcoming election. Progress in the legislature depends on protecting every Democratic incumbent and turning red seats blue.
