Podcast host Rachael Eubanks [ [link removed] ] was appointed as Michigan's 47th State Treasurer by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in January 2019. Treasurer Eubanks is committed to building Treasury's culture of service to Michiganders through continuous improvement and employee engagement, which are the foundation of Treasury's mission to provide fair and efficient financial services to all taxpayers for the long-term fiscal health and stability of our state.

Chris Harkins

Director Harkins [ [link removed] ] is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the state's $79 billion budget and oversees the Center for Educational Performance and Information, Office of Financial Management, Office of Internal Audit Services, and SIGMA. Prior to serving in the State Budget Office, Director Harkins served as Director of the Michigan Senate Fiscal Agency, where he managed the fiscal agency and its staff and ensured that the informational and fiscal needs of the members of the Michigan Senate were met. He also worked at Jackson National Life as a Senior Policy Advisor and spent the preceding decade employed in various roles in state government, most recently within the State Budget Office, where he served as Director of the Office of Health and Human Services.
