LEADERSHIP
*Jared was elected as the Democratic leader of the Water, Wildlife, and Fisheries Subcommittee of the House Committee on Natural Resources!

CALLING FOR ACTION
* From the BLM to the EPA to the National Parks Service, Jared called on agencies to use their authority to conserve public lands, address the plastics crisis, and protect vulnerable species. And while Jared works closely with the Biden administration on climate and environmental actions, he’s also a Democratic leader who will hold fellow Democrats accountable when they get it wrong. That’s why last week he joined other congressional climate champions in criticizing the Biden administration’s unfortunate approval of the huge Willow oil development project in Alaska.

*Providing grants to support climate restoration and resiliency projects
*Protecting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge’s indigenous communities & wildlife from oil and gas development
