Former President Trump has been leaning on some familiar rhetoric since
announcing that he might soon be arrested as part of Manhattan District
Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation into hush money payments Trump made
in the lead-up to the 2016 election.

From his Truth Social account, the twice-impeached former President called
on his supporters to ‘take our nation back’, ‘save America’, and ‘PROTEST,
PROTEST, PROTEST’.

This is Trump's favorite political tactic: when he loses or his authority
is questioned, he incites violence. On January 6, 2021, he incited
violence against our electoral system. Now, he’s doing it to our judicial
system. He is trying to intimidate our courts out of pursuing justice.

[ [link removed] ]Alexandria has never been afraid to call for Trump to be held to
account for his actions. Despite continually being made a target by Trump
and the right, she will continue to demand that criminal behavior from our
