Hello partners,

On behalf of Consumers First, we invite you to join us in signing a joint statement to submit for the record for the upcoming House Energy and Commerce Committee Health Subcommittee’s hearing on Transparency and Competition. Next week’s hearing, which will occur on Tuesday, March 28, at 1pm, will focus on examining ideas to drive down the cost of health care through transparency and competition.

After years of advocacy and collaboration to bring more attention to these issues, it’s exciting to see Energy and Commerce focusing on these important issues in a bipartisan way. It is critical for us in this moment to use our collective power to keep up the momentum surrounding this hearing, and work to get meaningful legislation passed on these issues and our other mutual priorities. The statement has already been signed by members of Consumers First’s Steering Committee.

The letter sign-on form can be found here. and will close at 1pm on Monday, March 27. The full letter is included in the sign-on form, but can also be found here. Please reach out to Jane Sheehan at [email protected] with any questions.

Thank you,

Mike Persley
