We’ve seen the same question pop up in our inbox a couple times these last few weeks: It’s only March, so why are you asking folks to pitch in?

It’s a totally valid question.

Here’s the honest truth: running a campaign, especially one in a state as competitive as Wisconsin, takes a lot of time and significant resources.

Early donations allow us to plan ahead, build up our operations, hire staff, and reach as many voters as we can, as early as we can. In a race like ours, the work we do early on in our campaign could make the difference between protecting Tammy’s seat or handing it over to a dangerous right-wing candidate like David Clarke.

Now, we don’t expect our supporters to give every time we ask, but we really appreciate it when you do. Because every time you pitch in, you’re saying you stand with Tammy and helping us build a campaign strong enough to win in Wisconsin.
