Walgreens can’t hide from us anymore.

We are thrilled to bring you a first look at the art for the billboard
that Courage California members like you made possible. As the pharmacy
corporation’s executives drive to work next week, they and tens of
thousands of other people will see this giant billboard on the highway:

This billboard will be posted on one of the busiest highways in the
country, and we will ramp up the pressure on Walgreens with every car that
passes and every news crew that covers the sign. The longer we keep this
billboard up, the more likely it is that Walgreens will fold and reverse
its position on dispensing the abortion pill.

Walgreens thought that red-state attorneys general had all the power when
the Fortune 500 company decided to cave to demands to not dispense the
abortion pill in more than 20 states, even where it’s legal.

It turns out, we have the power.

Since our coalition began our boycotts and high-pressure campaigns to
change Walgreens’ policy, the corporation’s stock has fallen nearly
10%.(1) Walgreens has lost a $54 million contract with California, and
there is a push to end the U.S. government’s $150 million in contracts as
well.(2)

Make no mistake -- our campaign is about more than Walgreens. We are
sending a message to all pharmaceutical corporations that they cannot put
politics over people’s healthcare. More than 50% of abortions use the
abortion pill mifepristone, and women must have access to that
medication.(3)

That’s why we can’t stop now. We need to keep this billboard running and
maintain our campaign until Walgreens drops its harmful policy.
