John, that’s what Nicolle Wallace once said about CREW’s work uncovering government records about the insurrection and Donald Trump’s corruption.

Here at CREW, we’ve taken legal action against insurrectionists, exposed how the Secret Service failed to prepare for January 6th, testified before Congress in support of reform, and called out corporations and dark money groups for their shady political actions.

We’re conducting investigative, legal, and policy work that is groundbreaking and essential to protecting our democracy. But we rely on ongoing support to be able to do this work.  

Over the last few months, our team has been hard at work:

• We saw CREW Senior Vice President and Chief Counsel Donald Sherman in HuffPost laying out the case for a removal of Trump-era appointees, like Ginni Thomas and Louis DeJoy, who took actions that undermined the 2020 election, yet still remain in their positions.
• We sent a letter to Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy demanding that he either retrieve the 44,000 hours of video footage from January 6, 2021 that he provided to Tucker Carlson (without consulting his colleagues or national security experts) or make the footage public.
• We’ve worked to stop insurrectionists like Derrick Evans from holding office after being charged with federal crimes and pleading guilty to a felony.
