Police Union Files Misconduct Complaint Against Chief Moore For Officer Info Compromise

The presidents of the Los Angeles Board of Police Commissioners and the Los Angeles Police Protective League expressed frustration and concern on Tuesday regarding personnel information of LAPD officers being released to a watchdog organization that published it online. Lally also added the LAPPL was informed that, when questioned by others within the Department, Ms. Rhodes stated that she had notified members of the LAPPL about this matter “in passing.” He added “This statement, that she notified the LAPPL, is false.” Apparently, when questioned further, Ms. Rhodes stated that the two individuals she told were LAPPL President Craig Lally and General Counsel Robert Rico. “This again is false, defamatory and potentially fabricated in an attempt to cover up the fact that proper notifications were never made”, Lally said.

Stabbed Repeatedly In 2020, Las Vegas K-9 Earns Toughest Dog Honor At Agility Trial

Kimura is a tough dog, and now it’s official: he is the toughest dog. Stabbed in the neck in April 2020 while trying to subdue an armed suspect, the 6-year-old Dutch shepherd has rebounded from that life-threatening injury — and he proved it at the Metropolitan Police Department’s 31st annual K-9 Trials on Sunday. The K-9 Trials, which brought out as estimated 4,600 people to the equestrian arena at South Point, saw law enforcement teams from Las Vegas and around the country competing in agility and pursuit-related events events on Sunday. The top prizes were Top Agency, Top Dog and Tough Dog, which was won by Kimura. That honor, which goes to the dog regarded as the toughest, strongest and most aggressive in the competition, is awarded by the so-called “decoys,” or the officers who pretend to be criminals and wear the teeth-resistant “bite suits” that enable them to get bitten safely all day long. Those officers determine which dog bites the hardest, fights the hardest and just goes the hardest, and they chose Kimura.

Man Reunited With Florida Deputy Who Saved His Life By Applying Tourniquet To His Leg

Last summer, Rafael Ayala Villalba was thrown from his motorbike in a traffic accident in Sarasota County. The injuries Villalba received would dramatically change his life and would have been fatal if it were not for the actions of a Sarasota County sheriff’s deputy. In what he thought would be his final moments of life, Villalba did not expect the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Deputy who rushed to his aid to be his literal lifesaver. Deputy Josh Snow was the first at the scene of the crash where he discovered Villalba suffering from serious leg injuries. Snow immediately began applying a tourniquet while receiving assistance from an off-duty paramedic, WWSB reported. Villalba spent months undergoing several operations that ultimately led to a hip disarticulation. He was then fitted for a proper prosthetic – allowing him to start regaining mobility. Villalba had seen Snow in a newspaper where he had received an award for his lifesaving actions and wanted to eventually reach out and thank him. On March 16, the two were reunited for an emotional meeting at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office.
