Basketball Madness Has College Towns Buzzing

In 1896, the first college basketball game was played. Now, 127 years later, March Madness 2023 draws 68 men?s and 68 women?s teams from more than 350 NCAA Division 1 basketball colleges.

This year, 26 schools have double madness as both their men?s and women?s teams were selected.

The state with the most men?s teams this year? Texas with seven: Baylor, Houston, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas A&M-CC and Texas Southern.
