Dear John,
The pro-life turnout for the public hearing for House Bill 2002 was incredible. Thank you to everyone who showed up. We know it's hard to get to the Capitol in the afternoon on a weekday, and we were blown away by your response.
Here's what you should know from the hearing:
Representative Javadi (R-HD 32) asked if parents would be notified about an abortion performed on a child who is under 15 if she was in critical condition because of an abortion. The experts on the bill effectively answered, "No," exposing their absolute commitment to abortion over the safety of children.Several pro-life advocates shared their stories of personal experiences with abortion. Their moving testimony was a powerful witness to the value of unborn life, and the devastation abortion can cause.Defenders of HB 2002 dodged questioning on the decriminalization of "concealing the birth of an infant." This provision will create a shroud of willful ignorance around abortion providers who refuse the life-saving medical care needed by infants born alive after an attempted abortion.
We're thankful for every pro-life advocate who came to stand up for unborn children. But our work at the Capitol and getting the word out about advocacy opportunities is only possible with your financial support, John. Would you help us continue this work by giving to Oregon Right to Life [[link removed]]?

Your gift helps us protect unborn babies, abortion-minded women and families from the pro-abortion agenda in Oregon.
Because everyone deserves an advocate,
