Dear John -- For years, folks in rural Washington have had limited access to hospitals and health care. This affects low-income individuals and forces families to make hard choices -- choices that no child, parent, or sibling should have to grapple with. We know this all too well. While our community does have access to rural health care, the trip time to access that care can be up to two hours from where we live. John, this much is clear: Our incumbent representative, Jaime Herrera Beutler, is turning a blind eye to some of the most important issues facing our community faces. So I’m asking you: Are we going to take a stand to enact real change for our community?
Protecting our community will require a plan and a leader -- and I need your help to build the infrastructure that we’re going to need to win this fight. It’s going to take a dedicated grassroots effort to secure a path for progress over the next 10 months on the campaign trail.
Investing in this movement is our best chance at achieving real change for our community. That's why you'll be hearing from my team in the weeks ahead. These campaigners on the ground will share what's at stake, how we’re going to win this fight -- and most importantly, how you can make that critical difference.
Thank you for your support. We couldn't do this without you. -- Carolyn |
