The truth is CEOs get wealthier every day while Black and brown
communities experience higher rates of asthma, cancer, and other diseases.
We need to act with urgency to protect against the climate crisis and
address the inequities that leave frontline communities facing the brunt
of environmental racism.

Growing up, Summer learned about environmental injustice firsthand as her
Mon Valley community struggled with some of the worst air quality in the
nation. It's this lived experience that motivated Summer to run for
Congress.
