Franny the beagle.

Franny lived a life no dog deserves…

Friend,

Franny’s only home was a stainless-steel cage. The beagle spent her life at a breeding facility that supplied dogs to animal testing laboratories—where they were used for inhumane tests and those that managed to survive were eventually killed. This kind of abuse must end, and you can help.

We need your largest contribution now to stop the cruel testing, and killing of animals used in research, and to keep up all our policy battles to end animal suffering of all kinds.

We don’t know how many times Franny was forced to breed and give birth, but we know her puppies were always taken from her … eventually used for breeding as well or sold to laboratories for testing.

Franny was one of 4,000 dogs kept at that facility. The Humane Society of the United States rescued these dogs, and the Humane Society Legislative Fund is working at the policy level to end animal testing so there will no longer be a need for facilities like the one Franny was rescued from.

Your contribution of $20 will help us advocate for animals in Congress, state legislatures and federal agencies—to save animals from misery and torment. Not only animals used in experiments, but those living in puppy mills, factory farms, and in the wild.

Franny is lucky. She’s on a new journey, far from the hellish conditions she endured. But many other animals are still suffering. Please give now to help us secure laws and regulations to save them from exploitation and abuse.

Sincerely,

Sara Amundson Signature
