Congressional bill H.R. 5 seeks to censor LGBTQ+ topics in schools and forcibly out transgender and nonbinary students. This so-called “Parent’s Bill of Rights'' doesn't reflect the perspectives of our community and the majority (80%) of parents who say it’s important that their child be accepting of people who are different from them. This is an explicit attempt to undermine the public education system and enables the erasure of LGBTQ+ voices and the voices of communities of color.
