Dear John, Today is World Water Day! On this day, it’s hard to not think about the Boundary Waters and its intricate web of crystal clean lakes, rivers, & streams. -
The interconnected waterways of this Wilderness are some of the cleanest in the world. It is one of the few remaining places where paddlers often drink straight from the lake.
The Boundary Waters has a thriving ecosystem, and is home to hundreds of species like wolves, moose, loons, walleye, northern pike, and more who rely on clean waters. Last year, over 166,000 people visited this watery Wilderness.
We need your help to continue the fight to keep the waters of Canoe Country clean. Until March 31,
when you make a gift to protect the Boundary Waters it will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. Take advantage of this rare opportunity and make a gift on World Water Day in honor of the Boundary Waters! |
