I wanted to be sure you were up to date on some of the critical work that Julie does as our State Auditor.

Over the past month, she crisscrossed the state during her “State of Main Street” listening tour as she reviewed the 2021 financial data for counties, cities and townships.

In addition to being taxpayers watchdog, helping local communities make the best decisions is a critical part of her job.

Her "State of Main Street" is the “State of the Union Address” for our local governments. Julie’s efforts lead to a deeper understanding of local issues.
