Hey John,

I know you probably get a lot of emails from campaigns like mine every day. But this one isn’t another fundraising email. Rather I’m writing to say thank you for supporting me during the last goal before the FEC quarterly deadline at the end of the month.

You’ve heard me say it before: 2024 is going to be one of the most crucial elections of our lives. From the White House to the Senate to the House, we’ll be in a battle for every last victory.

I’m proud of the work my Democratic colleagues and I have done—from fighting against climate change and improving local supply chains to lowering health care costs and protecting marriage equality. Now, with the new session, we’re ready to continue that work, no matter what the small GOP majority does.

I’m excited to once again serve on the House Intelligence Committee, which is charged with helping the national security of our country and keeping our families safe.

I also will serve on the Foreign Affairs Committee—where I serve as ranking member of the subcommittee on the Indo-Pacific, which is crucial to our national security, values, and economy as we compete with China on the world stage.

It’s an honor to serve, John. And I look forward to giving you more updates as we continue through the legislative session.
