As still the highest-ranking Republican in Hawai'i, having served in our state's legislature for numerous years and as US Representative for two terms as well as federal Administrator of the Small Business Administration, Mrs. Saiki remains a prominent member of the Hawai'i Republican Party, contributing on many different levels of Party leadership through the years.
As we honor the legacy of Prince Kūhiō, we honor Mrs. Saiki who has also championed for the people of Hawai'i nei, particularly her role in stopping the bombing of Kaho'olawe.
