Adam Schiff for Senate

John, while other candidates may be focused solely on their own race, I need to talk to you today about another important contest.

In two weeks, there is a critical election that could hold dire consequences for abortion rights and fair election maps: The election of a seventh justice to Wisconsin’s deadlocked 3-3 Supreme Court will set an important precedent in that state and around the country.

Let me explain:

Judge Janet Protasiewicz is the Democratic Party’s endorsed nominee in Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election on Tuesday, April 4 — just 14 days away.

This election is for a 10-year term. Remember how Wisconsin’s Supreme Court barely accepted the results of the 2020 election? Can you image in 2024 if Janet’s far right opponent Dan Kelly was on the bench? As the deciding vote in a 4-3 ruling, the fate of our democracy would be in his hands, and we’d be facing repeated bogus claims of election fraud in 2024.

That’s not all, Dan Kelly is endorsed by a trifecta of anti-abortion groups. Ones that support criminalizing abortion and ripping away reproductive freedoms.

Will you help protect abortion and democracy in Wisconsin and across the country by splitting an urgent $10 donation between Judge Janet’s campaign and ours today?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split donation to Janet Protasiewicz and Adam Schiff will go through immediately:

Let me tell you something about Judge Janet’s far-right opponent:

After losing his last election to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the state Republican Party and Republican National Committee paid him $120,000 to provide legal counsel as part of the “Stop the Steal” movement to send fake electors that would overturn the 2020 election.

He is a far-right extremist, full stop, endorsed by anti-abortion zealots and backed by some of the biggest money in Republican politics.

If we’re going to protect abortion rights in Wisconsin, defend our democracy, and ensure Republicans can’t steal the 2024 presidential election, we need Judge Janet to prevail on Tuesday, April 4.

So John, split $10 between Judge Janet’s campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court and ours. Let’s go win this thing.

This may end up being the most important election for the future of our democracy in 2023. Thanks for adding your critical support in the homestretch of this race.
