[1]Bowman for Congress

John, we cannot
continue to force struggling, working families to pay the price for the
greed of large, profitable corporations.

Just last week, we watched as venture capitalists and tech investors were
bailed out after the biggest bank failure since 2008 occurred in Silicon
Valley — a failure made possible by Republicans who weakened bank
regulations in the first place under the Trump Administration. And yet,
working-class Americans continued to be sidelined.

Jamaal is determined to be a voice for working-class people and families
across the country. That's why he and Senator Bernie Sanders introduced
the Ending Corporate Greed Act last year in efforts to finally prioritize
the economic reality of working-class people.

Our current economy does not work for the people. Over the past three
years, our communities have had to grapple with a global health pandemic,
a burgeoning war, and immense inflation. All of which has led to a boost
in price gouging Americans at the gas pump, the grocery store, and almost
any other sector of our economy.

Instead of asking citizens to continue paying higher and higher prices for
gasoline, food, and other basic necessities, the time has come to demand
that large, profitable corporations make less money.

[ [link removed] ]John, will you
stand with Jamaal as he takes on corporate greed, works to lower prices
for everyday Americans, and fights inflation, by adding your name in
support of The Ending Corporate Greed Act today?

Jamaal and Bernie first teamed up last year to introduce the Ending
Corporate Greed Act in response to corporations capitalizing off a global
health pandemic — squeezing customers who rely on them for essential goods
and services.

The Ending Corporate Greed Act will impose a 95% tax on the windfall
profits of corporations with more than $500 million in annual revenue. It
will eliminate the incentive for companies to use inflation as an
opportunity to prey on the public to further enrich their executives and
shareholders. And, in likeness to past windfall profit taxes enacted
during times of crisis, this bill will ensure that companies are unable to
profiteer off of wars.

It's time our economy worked for working-class people. [ [link removed] ]Jamaal believes
that everyone should have the opportunity to thrive, not just survive.
Please add your name in support of the Ending Corporate Greed Act. and
Rep. Bowman's efforts to ensure the economic justice we deserve.

The Ending Corporate Greed Act has the potential to make a major impact in
how we take on our day to day costs, but only if we can build enough
support for Rep. Bowman's work in Congress.
