John, today is one of my favorite days of the year—it’s International Day of Forests.
It’s a reminder that there’s so much that planet Earth has to offer: majestic parks for spending time with family, hiking trails with breathtaking views, and abundant forests overflowing with towering trees. But the threat to these peaceful lands still looms overhead.
Right now, 6,000 acres of land are lost every single day to threats like overdevelopment and climate change. This means our beloved and essential forests need our help—and it’s why, on International Day of Forests, we urgently need your help to protect each and every acre.
