The Iowa Caucuses are just one week away. Next Tuesday, Iowans will join their friends and neighbors in high school gymnasiums and church basements across the state, and cast their votes for the Democratic nominee for president.
At this important moment, I’m so proud to be heading to Iowa to help Get Out The Vote for Elizabeth Warren in the Hawkeye State. Elizabeth’s team has been working hard on the ground in Iowa for months, and the campaign set a goal to raise $3.5 million dollars before January 31st to power their organizing and voter outreach in this final stretch.
We are in a fight for the soul of our democracy, and we need a leader with the grit and tenacity to stand up to the occupant of the White House. With the intentional, inclusive vision to put power back in the hands of people and lead our nation forward — that leader is Elizabeth Warren.
I just landed in D.C. after a few days in South Carolina. What I saw on the ground was powerful — people from all walks of life investing their sweat equity to send Elizabeth Warren to the White House. Elizabeth is my partner in good, with a progressive vision for the country and a plan to win.
The diverse, powerful grassroots movement Elizabeth is building is what it's going to take to defeat the occupant of the White House and make progress for our communities.
But Elizabeth’s campaign needs the resources to continue growing this movement and reaching as many voters as possible. And because Elizabeth rejects all donations from corporate special interests, she is relying on donations from supporters just like you.
