John,
One of the most important races of 2023 is the mayoral runoff happening right now in Chicago.
We’ve got a chance to elect a terrific candidate, and I am very happy to announce that I’m endorsing Brandon Johnson — a former public school teacher, union organizer, and fearless fighter for communities across Chicago who’ve faced decades of disinvestment.
Brandon is the only candidate in this race who will deliver what the people of Chicago deserve. But he’s in a competitive runoff election, and he needs our help.
Can you add your name to join his campaign today? We have two weeks to elect the first-ever former public school teacher as mayor of Chicago.

I’m also a former public school teacher, and I can tell you Brandon is the real deal. No other candidate better understands how disinvestment has hurt students and their families — and no other candidate is more committed to fighting inequity in Chicago, first and foremost in the city’s public schools.
As mayor of Chicago, Brandon will stand for the people, not entrenched special interests and political insiders. But let’s face it: that means he’s got a tough fight on his hands right now. Brandon’s going to need all the grassroots support he can get if he’s going to win on April 4th.
Can you add your name to join his campaign and help fight for a stronger, safer, and more equitable Chicago?

Thanks for being part of this,
Elizabeth Warren
