State laws are primarily created, changed and repealed by the legislature -
our State Senators and Assembly Members. It is important that everyone of
us get to know them personally and have a professional (preferably positive)
relationship with them. The goal is for you to have a relationship with
your legislators where they know you and will answer your call or email.

With over 3000+ bills introduced into the California legislature each year,
there will inevitably be bills to support and bills to oppose every year.
Legislators are the ones that will decide what lands on Governor's desk to
become law and what doesn't, so your input to them is critical.
