As you may know, Dominion Voting Systems, the electronic voting machine company at the center of the right-wing rigged election conspiracy theories has filed a $1.6 billion dollar lawsuit against Fox News for defamation of their company.

They argue that Fox News knowingly presented false claims about them in an attempt to not alienate their viewership who they believed would be upset by a public rejection of the claims of vote rigging which were prevailing within conservative circles at the time. 

As we embark on our own lawsuit against Lauren Boebert and Fox News our legal team has advised us that the Dominion case has immense implications for our own suit. 

In case you aren’t familiar with our Boebert lawsuit I’ll take you up to speed. In 2022 we released multiple fact based scoops about Lauren Boebert and her misdeeds, many of which called into question her so-called conservative values. In response, Boebert went onto Fox News and other right-wing media outlets defaming us, our PAC, and our donors, claiming that we were liars.

We are now bringing a lawsuit against her with the aim of seeking damages as well as forcing her to participate in a taped deposition where we can ask her under-oath about her misdeeds with the penalty of perjury. We then plan to release this deposition to the media and public.

John - the lawsuit we are bringing against Lauren Boebert is the biggest threat to her reelection this 2024. Can you chip in $5 or whatever you can spare to help us save Coloradans from another two years of her BS?

The single sentence Fox and Sean Hannity allowed in from us.

We reached out to Fox News repeatedly before and after the airing of Boebert’s segments on Hannity with definitive evidence that the claims our PAC was making about her were indeed true.  They refused and only read a portion of our response. The bare minimum. They refused to allow us to tell our side of this story and instead assumed everything she was saying was true. 

Now take a look at this portion of the Dominion suit forwarded to me from our legal team:

The parallels to our case are huge: Fox News knew that Boebert was lying.  They coordinated her appearance the same date we published the allegations!  They had her on the shows, but even when we requested to appear they wouldn't allow us on air to refute her defamatory statements. It was a coordinated effort by Boebert and Fox News staff.

Fox News staff allowed Boebert to simply run her mouth with whatever she wanted to say.  They did no research on her claims, didn't challenge her, nor did they even look into the verifiable information we sent to them that demonstrated Boebert was lying. 

While we aren’t seeking a billion dollars like Dominion - our lawsuit represents an effort to bring truth and justice to Fox News and Boebert - both of whom play a massive role in the poisoning our Democracy.
