Inspire Men’s Involvement

For years I’ve been asked, “How can men help?” Finally, we have an opportunity for men through the Men’s Accountability Community (MAC). MAC offers a unique way for men to get involved with our work to prevent exploitation. We invite men interested in getting involved with our work to learn more at the MAC Happy Hour - March 28th.

Share this event with men in your life on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.

Improve Youth Outcomes

WTP staff is working hard to deliver prevention education to middle and high school students in Washington state. Jasmine, WTP’s Prevention Specialist, recently presented at Tumwater Middle School where 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students learned how to recognize the signs of human trafficking and grooming. Middle school students left with the knowledge of how they can improve their safety online and set healthy boundaries with friends, classmates, and adults. If you are connected to schools in Pierce, Thurston, or King County that would benefit from WTP’s Human Trafficking Prevention curriculum, please feel free to get in touch with us.

Increase Engagement

Our new series Real Talk w/ WTP launched on February 10th and streamed live on Facebook! Our team shared ways that you can take action all year to prevent trafficking. Be on the lookout for future episodes of Real Talk.

Include Community

WTP is seeking your anonymous feedback on law enforcement in your community. This brief survey will help us find ways to provide more trainings to law enforcement based upon the needs of the community. If you are a Washington state resident, we want to hear from you.

Do you want to help make a difference in preventing sex and labor exploitation? Consider volunteering with us! We need volunteers for outreach, event planning, and day-of support for events. Learn more about how you can get involved.

Thank you for your ongoing support of WTP’s mission and work. Our goal is to one day prevent this violence from happening in our communities. Through actionable steps, we can work towards educating our entire community on why and how human trafficking happens and what you can do to prevent this violence from happening again.
