Women Winning makes endorsements throughout the year to pro-choice women running for public office in Minnesota. Emily Larson is our first endorsed candidate of 2023! We’re excited to support her and to continue endorsing candidates who stand for reproductive justice and access to abortion healthcare. 

Emily Larson officially launched her 2023 Mayoral re-election campaign on December 13th, 2022. Larson was first elected Mayor of Duluth in November 2015 with 72% of the vote. She was inaugurated on January 4, 2016 and became the first woman to hold the office. She has prioritized economic development, streets, public safety, housing, sustainability, fair and affordable internet access, and building an economy that works for everyone.
