We're working hard to meet with the youth referred to us as quickly as possible.

March is Social Worker Appreciation Month! Would you make a donation today in honor of social workers and the survivors they’re caring for?

John,
I direct the Love146 US Survivor Care team and every day, I get to witness my team’s empathy, patience, flexibility, and unwavering dedication to survivors of child trafficking. One way that I see these qualities in action is through our Rapid Response service.

With these interventions, we provide critical information and safety planning to youth who are confirmed or suspected victims of trafficking. Some of our partners in the community who also usually do this type of intervention are unable to take referrals right now. So over the past 3 months, my team has been working tirelessly to respond to some of the highest volumes of referrals we've received. They’re processing paperwork, adjusting schedules, and meeting with these youth as quickly as possible.

It’s been a lot. But even through all this, we’re making space for joy, whether by flying a kite with a survivor to help them just be a kid, or by the uproarious laughter that always fills the room when this team is together. That’s working towards something you believe in with people you like. That’s defiant hope. That’s Love146 US Survivor Care.

March is Social Worker Appreciation Month, and right now we have a matching gift campaign. That means everything you’re able to donate is doubled. Would you make a donation today ([link removed]) in honor of social workers and the survivors they’re caring for?

With your support, we can keep showing up to Rapid Responses with resources kids need, even when other community programs can’t. We can get a child a hot cocoa to hold as they process through trauma. We can make sure a youth has someone in their life to make a big deal about their birthday. We can help survivors experience childhood again. As they grow up, we can support them with employment, education, and parenting. Your help means that we can be there for survivors of child trafficking for as long as they need us.
Gratefully,
TAMARRA CLARK
Director of US Survivor Care

============================================================
From March 1st through March 31st, 2023 your donations are being matched up to $14,000 (for a total of $28,000 raised) by our friends at Export Solutions.
Founded in 2002, Love146 journeys alongside children impacted by trafficking today and prevents the trafficking of children tomorrow. We connect the dots to understand how vulnerability operates in the lives of children, and intervene both to care for survivors who have been harmed and ultimately to prevent harm from happening in the first place. Our work is achieved through the power of relationships and collaboration, listening to those with lived experience and diverse backgrounds, scaling proven practices, and challenging the systems that leave children vulnerable. Our prevention and survivor care work has impacted more than 70,000 young people. Our core commitment is to do what is best for children.
