Mike struck the nail on the head again during the recent Senate Healthcare Committee hearing concerning resources and spending.

He pointed out the shocking fact that the federal government currently borrows 30% of every dollar it spends. Decades-old status quo spending and dependence on D.C. has been stealing from our kids and grandkids, and it must stop now.

Washington’s Big Government Borrow-and-Spend socialism is not the answer.

We should be focused on policies that breed competition, incentivizing entrepreneurs to bet on themselves, rather than inflating an ever-growing behemoth government.

CASE AND POINT: In Indiana recently, a group of anesthesiologists and surgeons began their own startup private practice. Due to their fiscal efficiencies and effective high-quality healthcare, they were able to dramatically decrease the cost of common surgeries from ~$32,000 to $8,000 for instance.

That’s what happens when you get big government bureaucracies out of the way.
